Venus


Venus is second planet from the Sun, It is the hottest planet in our Solar System, with surface temperatures over 400 °C, second hottest planet in Solar System is the Mercury.
Venus is the planet which is closest to the Earth and is little smaller than the Earth. 


The Venus has longest rotation period among all planets of Solar System, its rotation period is 243 days, Venus rotates east to west like Uranus.
This planet is considered to be the brightest and most beautiful planet in our solar system. Venus sometimes referred to as the Earth’s sister planet due to their similar size and mass. 
Like Mercury, Earth and Mars, Venus is also known as terrestrial planet, it is the second largest planet among terrestrial planets, largest terrestrial planet is the Earth.
Venus is named for the ancient Roman goddess of love and beauty.
Diameter of  Venus is 12100 km, solar orbit period is 225 Days, and mean distance from the Sun is 108 M Km.
Venus has no natural satellites.
