Solar System

The Solar System is collection of all the planets, minor planets, satellites, asteroids, meteoroids, comets, dust and everything that orbit the Sun, it is a part of a spiral galaxy known as the Milky Way.
There are 8 planets and countless smaller objects in our solar system.
The order of planets from the Sun is  Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
The four planets closest to the Sun - Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars having rock, dust and metal surface are inner planets, and known as terrestrial planets or earthlike planets.
The two outer planets - Jupiter and Saturn, are known as the gas giants  being composed of hydrogen and helium.

The two outermost planets - Uranus and Neptune, are known as ice giants, made up of substances with relatively high melting points compared with hydrogen and helium.

Some planets have natural satellites, which orbits around them.
The natural satellite of earth is Moon.
Ganymede is satellite of giant jupiter, it is the biggest satellite in our solar system.
The second largest satellite in solar system is titan which is the satellite of Saturn. The order of planets by size is Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Earth, Venus, Mars, Mercury
