Uranus



Uranus is the seventh planet in order from the Sun, it is the 4th largest planet in our Solar System. Uranus is the second least dense planet in our Solar System, the least densest planet in solar system is Saturn. It is one of the two ice giants of the outer solar system, the other ice giant planet is Neptune.
Uranus rotates east to west like Venus, it gets its blue-green color from the presence of methane gas in its atmosphere.
Uranus cannot be seen from the Earth without a telescope and became the first planet discovered with the use of a telescope, it was named for the Greek god of the sky. Diameter of Uranus is 51800 km which makes it the 4th largest planet in solar system, Rotation Period of Uranus is 17h 14m, Solar Orbit Period of Uranus is 84 years, and mean distance from the sun is 2870 M Km.
Uranus has 27 known satellites, the largest satellite of Uranus is Titania.
